ABOUT: CARLA FEUERSTEIN
Carla is a live sound engineer based in Glasgow. After moving to Scotland, from Germany, nine years ago, Carla has found herself rooted in Scotland’s folk scene, working closely with bands such as HEISK and the Paul McKenna Band. Both pro-active and passionate about advocating for opportunities - within the industry - for young women, people of colour and other minority groups, she regularly leads development projects for organisations such as Scottish Women In Music (SWIM) and was appointed the Women in Live Music representative for Scotland in 2019.
