Kayleigh Robin, Label Manager at 23rd Precinct Music, shares her advice for ways in which artists and musicians can stand out from the crowd when you're sending your songs to a label.

ABOUT: KAYLEIGH ROBIN

Kayleigh currently works as label manager at 23rd  Precinct Music, looking after Limbo Records and First Run Records, and is also event-coordinator for Resonate Music Conference. Kayleigh also works as a Box Office assistant for SWG3 and DF Concerts. 

 Kayleigh started her career in music from a young age playing in bands. In her final year of high school, Kayleigh decided to start promoting her own metal shows in Glasgow under the name Brotherhood Promotions. Kayleigh went on to study Commercial Music at UWS and received a first class honours degree. During her time at university she also studied in Fontys Academy for Creative Industries in Tilburg, The Netherlands.  

 Joining 23rd  Precinct in 2016 as an intern, Kayleigh gained experience across all areas of the music industries including music publishing, synch, label management, event planning, artist management, social media, marketing and artist bookings to name a few. 

 In her spare time, Kayleigh enjoys snowboarding, running, swimming, producing music and has her own radio show, Iluna Sessions, broadcasting on Groove City Radio once a month.
