ABOUT: RAVEN TWIGG

Raven is a northern soul based in London, and started her career in 2012 as a freelance music blogger based in the Northern Quarter of Manchester before beginning a part time position on the customer services desk at Manchester Arena where she stayed for four years.


In 2017, Raven became a Bookings Assistant for SMG Europe, programming five UK arenas and theatres including Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle arena, before migrating South and joining Metropolis Music as the Managing Director’s promoter assistant.


Raven has been involved with some exciting tours during her time with Metropolis Music including a 10 day annual event Somerset House Summer Series, Björk, Goldfrapp, Janelle Monáe, Charli XCX, Mika, Koffee, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Tyler, the Creator, Jessie Ware, Snoh Aalegra, Chronixx, Black Coffee and many more.

n March 2019, Raven was part of a team of five industry professionals who established
Women Connect UK. A networking collective for women, non-binary people and gender fluid folk who are working within the creative industry sector. Curating and hosting live events focused around important topics, producing online content and building relationships with similar brands are some of the tasks Raven carries out as an active co-founder of the company.
