How will your email address be used and handled?

We will only use your email address for managing and delivering your subscription to our eNewsletter. We manage our eNewsletter subscription list through MailChimp (who are a Data Processor for the purpose of the GDPR) and your email address will be stored on their server.

Why can we do this?

We rely on your consent to use your email address in this way. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our eNewsletter and following the instructions.

Other data

This Privacy Notice applies only to data collected for the purpose of distributing our eNewsletter. We don’t have any other information on you and we will NEVER pass on your information to third parties. Ever. That’s a promise.

Your rights

You can ask to view the personal data we hold about you at any time. If you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to have it changed or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we’ve handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated by emailing dumfriesmusicconference@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data illegally you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
