Let’s Build An Orchestra.

A five week project working in partnership with Tinderbox, Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival and the Stove Network with workshops hosted at The Stove, the Theatre Royal and Lovers Lane Studios culminating in live performances at the Theatre Royal.

Local musicians and bands were invited to collaborate with the Tinderbox orchestra over the five weeks of workshops, creating new orchestral scores to music created by Dumfries bands and singer songwriters, including performances from Kate Kyle, musical duo Taagan and the Maidens of Music Choir.

All three acts then went on from the performance in Dumfries to perform with Tinderbox and SAY Award Winner Kathryn Joseph live at the Hidden Door Festival Finale in Edinburgh.
