Dumfries Music Conference will return for 2020 with its eighth annual conference, and this year it’s going digital. Set to take place on 15-17 October, the three-day conference will feature film, discussion, workshops, Q&As, live music and exhibition - all hosted on digital platforms.
Cinematic sounds and a thunderous live presence, Scottish Alternative trio North Atlas provide a fresh perspective to the genre as a band of brothers whose contrasting influences combine to defy the traditional sensibilities of a rock 'n’ roll band.
North Atlas will be taking over the DMC Instagram from 12pm, sharing more about their music, what they’ve been listening to and how they’ve been spending her time inside. Then join us at 7pm for a live performance from North Atlas.

Taking over the DMC Instagram is the gentle torrent of talent know as Ra. Hailing from Dumfries but now based in Edinburgh, Ra’s smooth vocals, lyrical prowess, surprising covers and ability to switch between guitar and ukulele have established her solo acoustic sets a consistent delight.
