23rd Precinct Music presents: Songwriting Masterclass with Scarlett Randle, Flew The Arrow and Mark McGowan.

Participants collaborate on a live proposal with 23rd Precinct, working as a team to answer a real-life songwriting brief with expert guidance from professional songwriters and musicians.


Application Process:

Due to the collaborative nature of the course and to ensure a quality of experience for all participants we ask that you send a recording of an original work to dumfriesmusicconference@gmail.com. This can be any length and in any format (including video).

Alternatively, if you’re looking to gain experience in song-writing and do not currently have original work – we ask that you send along a small paragraph detailing your experience with your chosen instrument, your grade level (if you know it!) and experience to date. Feel free to send along a recording of a cover as well!

We will endeavour to maintain a diversity of experience with the participant group but must ensure a minimum standard so as to guarantee a quality of learning and collaboration between all individuals.
